Canadian Tour of Francophone Women Entrepreneurs

The purpose of the Women’s Program is to advance equality for women in Canada by working to address or remove systemic barriers impeding women’s progress and advancement. The WP supports the Government of Canada’s goal of advancing gender equality in Canada. It is consistent with Government of Canada priorities related to economic prosperity, and supports Canada’s international commitments related to gender equality. This 12-month project will engage women and community stakeholders in the development and implementation of strategies that will improve the economic prosperity of Francophone women in Canada. The project will establish strategic partnerships and collaboration between RDÉE organizations and other stakeholders in order to better identify and respond to the economic needs of immigrant women. It will work to eliminate the obstacles and factors that limit the capacity of Francophone women entrepreneurs by identifying the challenges and issues they face.

Women and stakeholders have access to supports to address issues relating to equality between women and men.
