GBT men at the heart of RÉZO for 30 years

The purpose of ESSOGIE program is to advance social, political and economic equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program. This 16-month project will strengthen the capacity of RÉZO to promote LGBTQ2 equality. The project objectives will be achieved through the following activities: ensuring long-term sustainability by diversifying funding sources through the development of a financial autonomy strategy and the creation of an IT infrastructure to support financial management. By the end of the project, the organization will have increased its knowledge and capacity to advance equality in terms of gender, sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression.
